It now includes both the Ballyduff (lower river) & Killavullen (upper river) gauge heights.
I have started my daily updates once again in the run-up to Opening Day on February 1st.
The weather so far this winter has been very mild with only a couple of frosty nights thus far.
The water temperature has been climbing slowly since a minimum of 7.8°C on December 28th.
& had reached 9.4°C (49°F !)today. Temperatures are down to 0°C tonight at 23.00 so we will probably see water temperatures dropping again over the next couple of days.
