Best Day of the Season already by 13.00..............

Lowest Water Level so far this Season!
The river below the Lodge @ 12.30pm today on a beautiful sunny day.
Ballyduff gauge height  0.64m.  Clarity 5 feet. Perfect conditions!
Air temperature between 15 - 20
ºC.
The water level is the lowest that it has been since the season opened.

We already have 3 fish reported by 13.00 today - one each from three of the upper beats.
This is already the Best Day of this Season so far..........................!

 Declan Burke took his First Ever springer - a 12 pounder on fly from Woodstream.
 Ronan Brennan had his first a fly he had tied himself with a 9 pounder from Bridgetown
 & Daniel Kolomanski had a 6 pounder from Killavullen on spinner.

Conditions are absolutely perfect with the height now good for fly on almost all beats.
The water temperature is at 49ºF or 9.5ºC - & the clarity is about 5 feet.
