Second Best Fish of 2015 caught today. Five fish to 13lb. landed.……………

Conditions.
Dry again for the last 24 hours. The high pressure remains dominant off the west coast up to next Tuesday. Rain is due to move in from next Wednesday. Veering to SW winds from the weekend with warmer temperatures.

The upper river at Millstreet is still falling steadily.

Killavullen is also fallng steadily & was at 1.18m by nightfall.

The Ballyduff gauge is falling slowly & was at 0.28m by nightfall.

Excellent clarity throughout up & downriver.

Water temperature at Ballyduff: 12.6ºC / 54.6ºF.

Catches.

There were five fish to 13lb. caught today on the upper river & one on fly on the lower river.

Prospects.
Fishing remains somewhat challenging. The weather forecast is still dry for this week with cool temperatures up until Sunday when it will get warmer.

Availability.
No problem for rods & accommodation at the moment.
