The river is in perfect order & Second Best Fish of Season landed…….


  The Second Biggest Fish of the Season was landed today 

by Gary Lamont (N. Ireland) at Carrahulta on Carrig & safely released. 


     The river in absolutely perfect fettle for the last 2 days of the season.

Conditions.
The weather is dry & will stay so until the end of the season on Wednesday.

The upper river at Millstreet continues to drop steadily.

The Killavullen gauge is also falling slowly & steadily to 1.29m at 22.00. Clarity ~5 feet.

The Ballyduff gauge is down to 0.41 at 22.00. Clarity ~5 feet.

Water temperature at Ballyduff: 12.3ºC / 54.1ºF.

Catches.
Today we passed the 100 fish for the month. Seven fish to 15lb. landed today. Total for September is now 106 & 474 for the season to date.


Prospects.
The river conditions are absolutely perfect & fish are starting to come on the take at last with a couple of double figure fish today. Tides are peaking at 4.2m tomorrow Tuesday. Prospects of sport for the remaining two days should be excellent.

Availability.
Limited for the last day of the season on Wednesday at the moment.
