2 salmon for the day as the river falls slowly.......

The upper & lower river were continuing to fall slowly throughout the day.
The lower river was down to 0.50m by late evening.
The upper river was just starting to rise a bit again this evening @ 19.00.
The clarity was about 1½-2 feet throughout.

There were 2 fish of 5 & 7lb caught on 2 different beats on the upper river & quite a lot of fish were seen moving through the Castletownroche beats.
There were some quite heavy showers in the middle/upper catchment during the day so we'll see in the morning if these have any effect on the river.
