Weather: 

An overcast warm morning at 07.00 with no wind.
19mm of heavy rain around Ballyduff yesterday afternoon.
Some quite heavy rain in some parts of the upper catchment yesterday.

   River Height:    

 
 Millstreet:  Up 9cm to 0.53m @ 23.15 & falling.

Killavullen:  Up 2cm to 1.10m @ 06.00 & steady.  

  Ballyduff:   Up 6cm to 0.21m @ 06.00 & rising slowly.  

Colour/Clarity:  

5 feet on the upper river from Ballyhooly up today. The Araglen & the Funcheon tributaries below Fermoy brought in some colour overnight & clarity on the lower river is 2 - 3 feet  
Temperatures:  

Water @    Ballyduff:    13.3ºC    51.4ºF.
 Water @ Killavullen:    15.8 -  16.8C.
     Air @    Ballyduff:    20ºC  @ 14.00  today.

Run of Fish: 

Few fish seen.
                        
Catches:  

No fish caught since one angler caught 4 in a day last Thursday, July 31.

Methods:   

Should be good for fly & prawn but fish are not inclined to take!

Prospects: 

There will be little improvement until we get more rain.
