13 Days to go with a falling river and a dry week ahead!

Photo shows the river@ 14.50. Ballyduff gauge @ 1.19 metres.  River falling away steadily.
Temperature holding at 8.1ºC (46.6ºF) @ 16.00 today.
Some light wintry showers of sleet/snow tonight & then dry for the rest of the week.

The river is already down to what I would consider to be a reasonable spinning height as it is now below 1.20m.  0.70m or below would be optimum for the fly.
Let's hope that's how it may be when February 1st. comes around.

That said last year the first fish of the season off the entire river fell to a French angler
I fished with on Lower Kilmurry when the gauge was on 1.82m
