22,21,20,19,18..........the Countdown continues to Opening Day on February 1st.

This was the river at 11.30 today (10th.) at 1.07m on the Ballyduff gauge.

The river is still maintaining a reasonable level albeit fluctuating
a fair amount due primarily to rainfall in the upper catchment.
Peaked yesterday evening @ 1.50m @ 17.30. Down to 1.07m @ 11.30 today.
There is some rain for Monday & rather a lot is forecast for next Thursday.

Air temperatures have been incredibly mild - it was +14ºC at 22.00 last night. Temperatures are forecast to drop in the coming week.
The water temperature this morning is 9.4ºC (48.9ºF).
