The river is starting to fine down after the last rise.

Conditions.
It was a mixed day – sometimes sunny, sometimes overcast with temperatures reaching 16ºC in the late afternoon. The forecast remains for dry weather right through to the end of next week with warm days but cool nights due to no cloud cover.

The upper river at Millstreet continues to fall steadily since yesterday morning. Clarity improved during the day from 1½ to 2½ feet by nightfall.

The Killavullen gauge is still currently out of order. Clarity at Killavullen was barely 1½ feet at 08.00 this morning.

The lower river at Ballyduff rose late yesterday afternoon peaking at 0.89 at 01.00 this morning. By 23.00 this evening it was down to 0.63m with clarity also improving from 1½ to 2½ feet by evening.

Water temperature at    Ballyduff: 8.9ºC / 48.0ºF @ 23.00 today.
Water temperature at Killavullen:  7.6 - 8.0 ºC / 45.7 - 46.4ºF @ 23.00.

Tides will be peaking at 3.8m at Youghal tomorrow & Monday.

Prospects.
Superb right through the coming week as there is now no rain due and the winds will drop right down. The upper & lower river will both be fly fishable tomorrow as the clarity is improving quickly.
