Consistent Fishing continues – Eight grilse today.……

Conditions.
Damp day but not heavy rain. It now looks as if a band of heavy rain will cross the catchment on Thursday

The upper river at Millstreet & Killavullen was falling steadily, but the light rain again today is just topping up & holding the level. Killavullen is down to 1.16m at 24.00.  Clarity ~4 feet.

The lower river at Ballyduff is at 0.28m tonight. Clarity about 4 feet.
Water temperature at Ballyduff: 12ºC / 53.6ºF.

Catches.

Continue to be consistent. Four grilse today & six yesterday, including a First Ever Salmon for Klaus Betlejewski on fly.
59 caught so far for July which is the best July total since 2012.  179 for the season.

Prospects.
Very good for the coming days & especially into the weekend if we get the rain on Thursday.

Availability.
No problem for rods & accommodation at the moment.
