Werner Fasching (Germany) landed a beautiful fresh fish
on the New Stream on Carrig on the upper river yesterday.

The fish fell to a tube fly, was estimated to weigh 10lb., and was released.
The river is now coming down to excellent fly height. It is 50cm on the Ballyduff gauge.
The clarity is 2½ - 3 feet on both the upper & lower river.
