Lower river falling slowly– down to 0.76m at 11.00 today 3rd.
This is the lowest is has been since the end of December!
Superb clarity on the lower river at about 5 feet.
Again a beautiful cold sunny day today with no rain forecast.
No snow here at Ballyduff, but a moderate amount from Kilmurry
& heading upriver through Fermoy & Ballyhooly.
Air temperature is +1°C at 10.00 this morning, but with no wind.
Staying cold with light Northerly winds all week.
Water temperature at Ballyduff: 8.1ºC / 46.5ºF @ 10.00.
Water temperature at Killavullen: 4.8ºC / 40.7ºF @ 10.00.
Prospects
Absolutely excellent for this week as the river is coming down into cracking order and will be down to good fly height in the next day or so. Lovely spinning water too.
