Second Best June total since 2003! We have 72 caught for just 170 rod days.

Nine fish caught today for just eight rod days.
Today we flew passed the 100 fish for the season mark – 104 is the total to date.
Conditions.

It was a dry bright day here today.

The upper river at Millstreet & Killavullen (where the gauge is at 1.18m) is holding.
Clarity on the upper river is 6-7 feet.

The lower river at Ballyduff is at 0.28m.  Clarity is about 6-7 feet.
Water temperature at Ballyduff: 11.1ºC / 52.0ºF.

Catches.

The final total for today was 9 grilse to 7lb. – the Second Best Day of 2015. 3 very fresh fish were caught by mid-day from the upper river in the morning. This evening Kevin Collins (Cork) landed 4 & Kieran Conlon landed two on a micro-tube on the lower river. These 6 were all sea-liced.
We now have 72 fish for the month to date & 104 for the season so far.

Prospects.
Superb for the coming days as more & more fish are running. There was a very good run of fish through our lower beats today. There are also high tides next week peaking at 3.9m from Thursday to Saturday..
Availability.
No problem for rods & accommodation at the moment.
