11.00 the rain is just starting & winds are increasing after a calm
morning. The forecast is for 15-20mm rain
today. Temperatures – which have been unseasonally low in recent day – are due
to get warmer from mid-week.
The upper river at Millstreet is falling steadily this morning as is Killavullen where the gauge is at 1.36m at 11.00 today.

The lower river at Ballyduff rose & peaked at 0.50m at 08.00 then fell to 0.46m at 16.00 & has risen again this evening to 0.47m at 20.30 with good clarity.

river is in excellent condition in the morning. We will have to see how much
rain falls this afternoon & its effect on the river.

A bar of silver of about 8lb. on fly from the lower river already reported by Vaidas Tiskus.
