The river is clearing nicely. Should be fly-fishable throughout tomorrow.

Conditions.
It was a beautiful sunny day & dry for the last 24 hours. The forecast is maybe for just a few showers tomorrow & early Friday. High pressure will be building with dry weather from the weekend well into next week.

The upper river at Millstreet & Killavullen has dropped quickly. It has already fallen to 1.45m by 19.30 at Killavullen. Clarity on the upper river was barely 1½ feet today.

The lower river at Ballyduff is already back down to 0.55m at 19.00. Clarity was only about 1 foot.

Water temperature at Ballyduff: 10.5ºC / 51.4ºF.

Catches.

One very fresh 7lb. fish caught on spinner on the upper river.

Prospects.
Both the upper & lower river should be in good fly order tomorrow both in terms of height & clarity. Once it fines down the fishing should be superb based on Sunday’s results.
