A couple of double figure fish today.……………

Safely released.

Conditions.
Dry again for the last 24 hours. The high pressure will be dominant off the west coast throughout this week & up to next Tuesday. Rain is due to move in from next Wednesday. Veering to SW winds from the weekend.

The upper river at Millstreet is still falling steadily.

Killavullen is also fallng steadily & was at 1.213m by nightfall.

The Ballyduff gauge is falling slowly & was at 0.31m by nightfall.

Excellent clarity throughout up & downriver.

Water temperature at Ballyduff: 12.6ºC / 54.6ºF.

Catches.

There were two double figure fish caught today on the lower river.

Prospects.
Fishing remains somewhat challenging. The weather forecast is still dry for this week with cool temperatures up until Sunday when it will get warmer.

Availability.
No problem for rods & accommodation at the moment.
