some possibly heavy rain for Saturday night.
The upper river at Millstreet rose 14cm peaking at 02.00 this morning. Dropping steadily all day.Clarity about 2½ feet.
Killavullen rose 11cm & peaked at 09.00 at 1.30m.
The lower river at Ballyduff peaked at 02.00 this morning at 0.47m & fell back to 0.40m by 09.00 this morning. It then rose again to 0.47m by 15.00 & is now falling once more. Clarity was only 1½ feet & peaty in the morning & improved to 2½ feet by evening.

Catches.
Two very fresh grilse released yesterday. One on fly on the upper river by Maria Fasching from Germany. It was her First Ever Salmon!
Three fish (all on fly on the upper river) today including a First Ever for Walter Schilling & a First on Fly for Robert Kennedy.
68 caught so far for July. 188 for the season so far.

Prospects.
Quite good in the
coming days has there has been a good run of grilse coming through the tidal
reaches in the last week.
