Yesterday's 1½ foot dirty flood is just starting to fine off on the lower river………

Conditions.
Beautiful sunny day today. The forecast is dry for the week.

The upper river at Millstreet is dropping steadily.

Killavullen has dropped to 1.32m this morning at 09.00. Clarity is a dirty 1½ feet.

At Ballyduff, the river peaked at midnight last night at 0.60m. By 10.00 it has fallen back to 0.49m. Clarity is a very peaty 1½ feet.

Water temperature at Ballyduff: 12.6ºC / 54.7ºF.

Catches.

Just one very fresh grilse released on our very top beat yesterday morning before the dirty flood hit.

69 caught so far for July. 189 for the season so far.

Prospects.
Should be very good once this latest flood starts to fine off
