The river is dropped quickly. Clarity is moderate at 1½ feet.

The river at 07.15. Gauge height:  0.64m

Conditions.
It’s a beautiful sunny morning & was dry overnight. Some showers on Thursday & Friday. High pressure will be building with dry weather from the weekend well into next week.

The upper river at Millstreet & Killavullen has dropped quickly. It has already fallen to 1.53m by 07.30 at Killavullen. Clarity at Mallow is about 1½ feet this morning.

The lower river at Ballyduff is already back down to 0.64m at 07.30. Clarity is ~1½ feet.

Water temperature at Ballyduff: 10.5ºC / 51.4ºF.

Prospects.
Both the upper & lower river are barely in fly order today but will be very well spinnable. The lower river will be too high for fly, but will be very fishable with spinner. Once it fines down the fishing should be superb based on Sunday’s results.
