Still some squally showers this morning but fading away as the day progressed. Then the forecast is dry weather from now on into the middle of next week with high pressure building over Ireland this coming weekend. Winds will slacken considerably from Wednesday on.

Prospects.
Fishing remains challenging. Both the upper & lower river won’t be in fly order tomorrow, but should be so by Thursday. It should be in reasonable spinning order tomorrow.

Catches.
There were just 2 rods fishing in difficult conditions with strong winds & some heavy isolated showers. One fish met, but no fish were caught.
