The upper river is still rising this evening………

Conditions.

There were a number of squally showers especially in the afternoon as seen on the radar picture for 18.00. This may continue into tomorrow (but not so wet) & then it is dry weather from Wednesday on into next week with high pressure building over Ireland this coming weekend. Winds will slacken considerably from Wednesday.

The upper river at Millstreet is up 20cm at 19.30 this evening & still rising slowly.

The upper river at Killavullen is up just 2cm at 19.30 to 1.46m.

The lower river at Ballyduff is up 1cm to 0.54m. Clarity is ~4 feet.

Water temperature at Ballyduff: 9.9ºC / 50.2ºF @ 19. 00 today 15th. & steady.

Prospects.
Fishing remains challenging, but both the upper & lower river were in excellent fly order today as the clarity is improving.

Catches.
There were just 3 rods fishing in difficult conditions with strong winds & some heavy isolated showers. No fish were caught.
