Conditions.
It
was overcast all day today with no rain. The forecast is dry for tomorrow &
Sunday with some light rain perhaps for Monday & Tuesday in the early morning
and then dry right up until some light rain Friday evening.
With
no rain, the upper river at Millstreet is falling slowly & steadily.
The
upper river at Killavullen is also falling steadily & at 22.30 it was at 1.54m.
Clarity improved to ~ 3 feet this evening.
The lower river at Ballyduff is dropping steadily & was at 0.65m at 22.30. Clarity is ~3+ feet this evening 15th.

temperature at Ballyduff: 9.9ºC / 50.2ºF @ 19. 00 today 15th. &
steady.
Catches.
Alan Watkinson (UK) had a great day on our highest beat just below Mallow landing a fresh 6 pounder on fly & a very fresh 8 pounder on spinner. He also lost 3 more fish on spinner & one on the fly. Patrick O’Leary (Limerick) also lost two very fresh fish of about 5 & 8lb. – one each on Upper & Lower Kilmurry.

Prospects.
Both
the upper & lower river will be in good fly order tomorrow as the level is
falling steadily & clarity improving. The prospects of sport are excellent
for the weekend & into next week.
