The upper river is rising again this morning………

River picture was at 07.00 with Ballyduff gauge at 0.58m.
Conditions.

Continuing showers continued through the night across particularly the upper catchment. I have just 1½mm rain on my gauge this morning. These will die away today & then it is dry weather from Wednesday on into next week with high pressure building over Ireland this coming weekend. Winds will slacken considerably from tomorrow.

The upper river at Millstreet is now up 47cm in total at 06.00 since 02.00 yesterday, & is still rising.

The upper river at Killavullen is much less affected for now & is just 15cm to 1.59m at 06.15. Clarity at Mallow at 06.30 is 2½ feet.

The lower river at Ballyduff is up 5cm to 0.58m at 06.45. Clarity is ~3 feet.

Water temperature at Ballyduff: 10.0ºC / 50.4ºF 19th. & steady.

Prospects.
Fishing remains challenging, but both the upper & lower river were in excellent fly order today as the clarity is improving.
