River conditions continue to improve… First fish today reported at 12.15…



               River picture was at 11.20 with Ballyduff gauge at 0.61m.
Conditions.
It was dry overnight & is a bright breezy day here today. The forecast is or rather broken weather through the week but with no significant bands of rain.

The upper river at Millstreet continues to fall slowly & steadily.

The upper river at Killavullen is also falling steadily & at 11.15 it is at 1.51m.  Clarity improved to ~ 3+ feet.


The lower river at Ballyduff is dropping steadily & is at 0.61m at 11.20.
Clarity is ~3+ feet.

Water temperature at Ballyduff: 9.9ºC / 50.2ºF @ 19. 00 today 15th. & steady.

Prospects.
Both the upper & lower river are in good fly order today as the level is falling steadily & clarity improving. The prospects of sport are excellent for the weekend & into next week.

Catches
12.15 First fish of the day already reported from Carrig on fly 7lb.
