Joint Best Fish of the Season so far ………



                       Robert Aldridge caught this very fresh 11 pounder
                                    on spinner on Woodstream today.

Conditions.
No rain last night or today here. The forecast is still for dry calm weather for Monday & Tuesday with rain Wednesday/Thursday & continuing unsettled into the weekend.
 
The upper river at Millstreet is falling steadily & slowly.

The upper river at Killavullen is now falling only very slowly & it is down to 1.39m at 23.30 this evening. Clarity on the upper river is now a good 4 feet.
 

The lower river at Ballyduff is falling steadily & is at 0.47m at 23.30 this evening. Clarity this evening is 4 feet.

Water temperature at Ballyduff: 10.1ºC / 50.6ºF & steady.

Prospects.
The river is in magnificent order -  fly-fishable height & clarity throughout. Conditions for the start of this week will be absolutely ideal.


Catches.
 

Six fish to 11lb. in the last 4 days for just 30 rod days.
