Lower river peaks up just 12cm this evening………..

Conditions.
It was dry today & temperatures are due to fall to -1°C tonight.
The next two days will be much milder due to south-westerly winds
& Tuesday will be mainly dry.

On Wednesday there will be some more rain followed by
rather broken weather next weekend.

Surprisingly, the upper river at Millstreet rose just 17cm during the night peaking at 07.00 this morning. It then fell 4cm until 13.00 & held steady
until 21.00 when it was up again by just 1cm.

The lower river has risen just 12cm overnight and is peaking

at 0.67m at 21.00 this evening.
The clarity on the lower river this evening is 2-2½ feet at Ballyduff.

Water temperature at   Ballyduff: 8.4ºC / 47.2ºF @ 20.30 & steady.
Water temperature at Killavullen: 6.3ºC / 43.3
ºF @ 21.00.

Prospects.
The lower river should be in moderate fly order tomorrow & good spinning order.  It should improve over the next couple of days.
