Some quite heavy rain in the upper catchment is starting to rise the upper river late tonight ………..

Conditions
It was an overcast mild day here today with air temperature  up to +9°C from 3°C at 08.00 and there is little wind.
It was
+7°C at 23.00 this evening.

In the evening, a band of rain swept right through the catchment from the west. This was the radar rainfall picture at 19.15 this evening.

High pressure will build again over Ireland from Monday for the week – which should remain dry.

The upper river continued to fall steadily through the day until 19.00
when it started to rise once more. It was up 3cm by 23.00.

The lower river also continued to fall steadily,
but was holding at 0.55m at 23.00 this evening.

The clarity was improving slowly on both the upper river & lower river during the day to 2 - 2½ feet at Ballyduff.

Water temperature at Ballyduff: 8.3ºC / 47.0ºF @ 23.00.
Water temperature at Killavullen: 6.8ºC / 44.2F @ 23.00.

Prospects
Probably not in good fly order tomorrow clarity-wise.
Should be reasonably spinnable tomorrow.
