The lower river peaks & is starting to fall………………………..
Conditions
It was a mild bright day here today with air temperature up to +8°C & only down to +5°C at 20.00 and there is little wind. High pressure will build again over Ireland from Monday for the week – which should remain dry.
Two bands of rain will come across the catchment on Sunday night & Thursday night. The two peaks on the upper river at Millstreet arrived downriver at Ballyduff this afternoon, with the second peaking 0.75m at 13.30 today 14th.
The clarity was down to a foot on the upper river at lunchtime,
& on the lower river it was 2 - 2½ feet at Ballyduff in the morning
but down to 1 foot by evening.
Water temperature at Ballyduff: 8.2ºC / 46.8ºF @ 20.00.
Water temperature at Killavullen: 6.5ºC / 43.7F @ 20.00.
Prospects
Probably not in good fly order tomorrow clarity-wise. Height should be OK.
May be reasonably spinnable tomorrow.
