The river is rising yet again! ………………
Conditions.
There were a lot of heavy showers in the last couple of days, particularly in the upper catchment. I had yet another 4mm rain on my gauge today.
The upper river peaked at 14.30, then fell until 22.00
& now looks to be rising again.
The lower river is close to peaking at 22.00 this evening at 1.80m.
The clarity was about one foot late this afternoon.
Water temperature at Ballyduff: 7.7ºC / 45.9ºF @ 22.00.
Water temperature at Killavullen: 7.6ºC / 45.7ºF @ 22.00.
Prospects.
The river will be completely out of order tomorrow (Thursday).
It is the highest it has been since January 20th.
High water spinnability will depend on clarity.
It is unlikely to be in any sort of fly order for the next couple of days.
