Dry weather forecast right up until the end of next week !

It is a mild damp morning here today.Air temperature is +3°C at 07.30 with little wind.
High pressure will dominate our weather right up until the end
of next week and there is no rain forecast.
What a contrast to last February when the average river height
for the month was 2.62m.  !
Temperatures will stay cool, but barely down to freezing at night
well into next week.

The lower river continues to fall slowly but steadily.
It is down to 0.64m at 08.00 today 6th.
This is the lowest is has been since the first week of December!
Good clarity on the lower river at about 4  feet & at least 5 feet
on the upper river.

Water temperature at Ballyduff: 8.1ºC / 46.6ºF @ 08.00.
Water temperature at Killavullen: 4.6ºC / 40.3ºF @ 08.00.

Prospects
Absolutely excellent right through until the end of next week
as the river is coming down into cracking fly order.
With springers being caught on the lower river, prospects of sport
are very good indeed, especially if day-time air temperatures rise a bit.
