Conditions.

It’s a beautiful bright & frosty morning here again today.

Air temperature 0ºC at 08.00.
The forecast continues to be for high pressure building over Ireland.
It should be dry from this evening right through until the end of next week.

The upper river at Millstreet (80km upstream of the Lodge) has dropped considerably overnight & is now just 10cm above pre-flood levels.

The middle river at Killavullen (37km upstream of the Lodge) is dropping more slowly overnight. It is down to 1.93m at 08.15.

The lower river at Ballyduff is also falling quite slowly now. It is down to 1.20m at 08.45 this morning. Clarity is 1- 1½ feet.

Water temperature at    Ballyduff: 8.2ºC / 46.8ºF @ 08.00.

Water temperature at Killavullen: 5.9ºC / 42.6ºF @ 08.00.

Prospects.
The river is out of order for all but high water spinning in a few spots today.
It will be out of order for the fly over the weekend. With the dry weather coming, the river should improve and next week looks very promising indeed!
