The river has fallen to fly height throughout & has fair clarity today!

The river below the Losdge this morning. Gauge height:  0.61m at 10.00.

Conditions.
There was a narrow band of light rain (0.5mm) passed over the catchment during the night. It’s a breezy sunny day here. Another (perhaps rather heavier) band is due in the early hours of Sunday morning, & then there is high pressure building towards the second half of next week with calm conditions & little wind.
Air temperature is a balmy +14 ºC at 10.00.

The upper river at Millstreet is now holding steady.
Clarity at Mallow is 3 feet this morning.

The level of the middle river at Killavullen (37km upstream of the Lodge) is down to 1.45m at 08.45 this morning so is now at fly-fishable height and it is holding steady.
Clarity at Ballyhooly is 2½ feet this morning at 09.00.

The lower river at Ballyduff is down to 0.61 at 09.00 this morning.

Water temperature at    Ballyduff: 8.6ºC / 47.6ºF @ 10.00 today.
Water temperature at Killavullen:  7.9 – 8.6ºC / 46.2 – 47.5F @ 10.00.

Prospects.
Both the upper & lower river are fly-fishable today. It will be excellent for spinning throughout as the clarity is quite good.
