The river is rising yet again!

Conditions.
Yet more heavy showers in the upper catchment today. It was a mixed day with air temperature down to 4ºC at 17.00.
Becoming drier as the week progresses and becoming milder for Wednesday through Friday.

This was the upper river at 24.00 this evening.
Further showers gave yet another 20cm rise which peaked at 24.00  tonight. Clarity only 1-2 feet today.

This was the lower river at 24.00 this evening – gauge at 1.08m but is just starting to rise again. Clarity only 1-2 feet today.

Water temperature at    Ballyduff: 8.1ºC / 46.6ºF @ 24.00.

Water temperature at Killavullen: 5.0ºC / 41.0ºF @ 24.00.

Prospects.
Looking excellent for the second half of the coming week, but tomorrow it will be quite high & probably with poor clarity as it was poor throughout today & rising upriver.

The river will still be too high for fly tomorrow (Monday).
It will be moderately spinnable tomorrow.  It will depend on the latest rise coming down tonight as to whether  it will be in fly order in the coming days.
