overnight across the catchment. The forecast remains rather broken up to
Thursday, & then there is high pressure building from Friday right up to
the middle of next week with calm conditions & little wind.

The upper river at Millstreet rose again yesterday evening peaking at 01.30 this morning – up 25cm.

The level of the middle river at Killavullen (37km upstream of the Lodge) was falling until 22.00 last night. It is up 15cm at 07.45 & still rising slowly.
The lower river at Ballyduff has levelled at 0.71m at 07.45 but should start to rise. Clarity was only about 1 foot this afternoon.

Prospects.
Both the upper & lower river
are spinnable today with moderate clarity. Borderline too high for the fly
throughout today. At least when we get moderate rises, the clarity improves
very quickly.
