The river was falling steadily but it just starting to rise again! ………………

Conditions
.
Some heavy showers in the upper catchment yesterday & overnight.

A band of rain is just coming into the upper catchment this morning.

I only had 1mm rain on my gauge overnight.

It’s an overcast morning today with air temperature 3ºC at 08.00.

This was the upper river at 07.00am this morning.
It has been falling steadily since midday Thursday.
Just starting to show a small rise this morning.

This was the lower river at 08.00 this morning – gauge at 0.98m.
It has been falling steadily since midnight Thursday. Clarity close to 3 feet.

Water temperature at    Ballyduff: 8.1ºC / 46.6ºF @ 08.00.
Water temperature at Killavullen: 6.9ºC / 44.4ºF @ 08.00.

Prospects.
The river is still a bit too high for fly today (Sunday).
It is in perfect spinning order.  Depends on the latest rain coming in as to when it will be in fly order in the the next couple of days.
